HOW TO WRITE A STORY IN ENGLISH EXAM FOR CLASS 10 :

CBSE Class 10 English Story Writing is an essential part of the syllabus. Story writing is a very essential part to bring good marks in any English exam. Story writing for class 10 is essential for all board exams.

The Art Of Writing a Story:

Writing a story is different from that of telling a story. Writing a story is a systematic art of expressing some incidents or happenings verbally whereas, telling a story requires speaking skill with a commanding gesture. Writing a story requires good imagination power, The imagination should be such that it attracts attention to readers of any age group and creat curiosity in mind. Writing stories develop one's imagination power. The most important thing about writing a story is to arrange the given words on sentences(which will help to form the story ) in proper order. For this continuity of thoughts and feelings are very important. The sequence of thoughts should be such that the succeeding part easily follows the preceding.

A story is written in different paragraphs. Each paragraph is meant for different parts of the story. There is no limitation of words in writing a story. The length of the story depends upon the thoughts and feelings of the writer. The length of the story should not cross the limit that the reader will feel irritation. The language should be as simple as possible. There should be a good title and it is better, it is short and simple. "Moral " at the end of the story increases its standard. A good moral helps much through giving messages, to society. At last but not least, writing a good story depends upon the writer's skills in writing.
